Hey there Scattered comics fans!!!
Well, as promised we will try and bring you a newsletter every two weeks! Wow! Has it been two weeks already. Anyway without further ado, let's bring you up to speed on some of the Scattered Creators.
First up the week:
Ben Tinsley and Jake Tinsley:
(Ben Tinsley, Jake Tinsley, Emily Tinsley (Jake's wife) and Camden Lee.)
FORT WORTH, TEXAS --
The longtime father and son writing team of BEN TINSLEY, 55, and JAKE TINSLEY, 27, are gearing up to formally debut ''THE.TINSLEY BOYS SHARED UNIVERSE" (the TBSU) in their own corner of JASON DUBE's Scattered Comics continuum.
Formerly known as the WHAM BANG COMICS continuity, this calvacade of super hero characters was established in 2007 when the Texas-based Tinsleys, with Jason Dube on art, created 12-year-old Texas shaman superhero NIGHT OWL.
(Jake was 12 when he started writing with his father.)
In celebration of their longtime work relationship with expert Manga artist Dube, the Tinsleys folded their universe into Dube's, and joined his Scattered Comics writing staff a few years back.
Night Owl continues publication to this day in both comic book and web comic form and is the process of live action adaptation with Texas actor CAMDEN LEE, 11, (son to film actor Ben, brother to Jake) already cast to portray the young adventurer.
The debut of the TBSU during the coming months consists of the release of Ben Tinsley's THE BLONDE ASSASSIN #3, and the world premiere of Jake Tinsley's cutting-edge new multiverse comic ALTERNATIVE NARRATIVES. Both from Scattered Comics!
